Elements 6: Batch watermarking

I've just upgraded to Photoshop Elements 6 from 5 but hadn't been particularly impressed with any new features, until today. Today I discovered a feature (I won't say undocumented) that I hadn't heard of that allows you to batch watermark photos.

I've been looking for a feature like this so that I can watermark photos before uploading them to a photo hosting site. Lightroom has this feature but you are limited to putting the watermark in the corner (which is easily cropped off). But Elements lets you put it across the middle, choose the color/size/style of font.

To access this feature, open Elements 6 Editor.
Select File, Process Multiple Files.
Select the folder with the files in it or choose Open Files (to use the files open in the project bin).
In the right pane, select the Labels down arrow and choose watermark from the drop down.
Now type in the text you want, choose a font, size, color and opacity.
Edit: Make sure you have selected the Max Quality JPEG.
Then click OK.
Your window will look something like this, once complete.

This will create a new copy of the photos in the folder you specified which you can then upload. You can also choose to resize the file at the same time if you want.

I did your exact directions, but when I try to open my files up to see the "finished product" I don't seen any watermark on any of the photos what so ever, redid it at a 65% setting to make it quite evident but no pictures with watermarks. Also, it didn't copy the pictures either.
Why the heck did PSE 6 make a button you can just punch and add a water mark to the file. It's like they wanted to frustrate those of us that are photographers, but not PSE 6 gurus!!!! HELP

addendum.... I tried again, followed the simple instructions, opened the file after and found the original pictures untouched (unwastermarked) but had another "text document" that, when opened, said "StartProcessing Multiple Files
End Processing Multiple Files"

I'm about to give up and make all my preview photos 25K, to small to copy and use, lol..

Oh, how frustrating. I have followed your directions AND a video on youtube, but for some reason, my watermarks never show up! ARG.

Thanks for sharing. It worked great for me.

AWESOME!!! This is saving me so much time! I just wish that I could make the font larger than 72, I normally use 300 for my watermark. Oh well, this is so much faster.
